Product Description:
Glimepiride is used to lower blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Uses:
Lowers blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 (non-insulin-dependent).
Precautions and warnings:
Stop using this drug if it shows any allergic reaction such as: blistering- peeling- or red skin rash; itching; a large- hive-like swelling on the face- eyelids- lips- tongue- throat- hands- legs- feet- or sex organs; trouble with breathing; or chest tightness while you are using this medicine.
Side effects:
Allergic reactions.
Hypoglycemia.
Liver problems.
Nausea.
Diarrhea.
Stomach upset.
Decrease in the number of cells in the blood (platelets- red and white blood cells)
Change in eyesight.
