Avoquin is a topical cream that is classified as a whitening cream since it contains hydroquinone, a skin lightening agent that inhibits melanin formation in the skin. 

Uses:

Hydroquinone is a topical brightening chemical used to treat skin problems linked with hyperpigmentation, such as:

• melasma.
• post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
• sunspots.
• freckles.
• acne scars.
• and age spots.

Precautions and warnings:

• Before taking this medication, discuss all of your medical problems with your doctor.
• If you are allergic to sulfites, tell your doctor.
• When receiving Hydroquinone treatment, it is critical to wear sunscreen.
