Saline nasal ointment What saline nasal is used for: Supportive treatment in the event of a blocked nose. Do not use saline nasal: When used correctly- there are no particular precautionary measures to be taken. Warnings and precautions: Ointment: May not be used in the event of hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients contained in the ointment. Spray: There are no experiences against an application. Possible side effects: Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop throat tightness or swelling of the eyes- face- lips or tongue- feel faint- or have difficulty breathing. Stop using the product if you develop hives or itching of the face or body. Other medicines and saline nasal: No known interaction. How to use saline nasal: Due to reasons of hygiene and to avoid infection- each tube of Ointment/Spray should only be used by one person. After application- the tube nozzle should be wiped clean. Nasal Ointment: Introduce a 1 cm-long string of ointment into each nostril- several times daily. Nasal Spray: Adults and children (from 2 years onwards) spray 1-2 times into each nostril several times daily. Infants- children (up to the age of 2 years) spray once into each nostril several times daily. How to store saline nasal: Store in dry place below 25°C. A valid prescription should be available upon delivery
