• Since fever occurs when the hypothalamus is stimulated to create a temperature higher than usual, paracetamol works on the hypothalamus to provide an antipyretic effect.

• Paracetamol blocks the production of pain impulses in a peripheral way and may also prevent the brain from producing prostaglandins.

Uses:

• Used to treat mild to moderate pain, including various kinds of pain, lower temperature, and ease discomfort that can arise from infections, including the common cold and the flu.

Precautions and warnings:

• Should not be taken at the same time as other products containing paracetamol.
  Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to paracetamol or any other ingredient in this product.

How to Use:

• Insert the lubricated tip of the suppository into the rectal opening.
• Push it in using your index finger or small finger for younger children and hold against
• the rectal wall for a few seconds, this will keep it in place.
