Omnicef 125 mg Suspension 40 ml

Omnicef is a cephalosporin (pronounced SEF a low spor in) antibiotic. Cefdinir works by killing pathogens in your body. Omnicef is an antibiotic that treats a variety of bacterial illnesses.

Uses:

• Used to treat acute maxillary sinusitis.
• Used to treat Pharyngitis, sometimes known as strep throat.
• Used to treat tonsilitis.
• Used to treat simple skin and skin structure infections.
• Used to treat ear infection.
• Used to treat upper respiratory illness.
• Used to treat reduces respiratory infections.
• Used to treat Pneumonia.
• Used to treat sinus infection.
• Used to treat pharyngitis or tonsillitis.

Precautions and warnings:

• Omnicef should not be taken if you are allergic to cefdinir or similar antibiotics such as Ceftin, Cefzil, Keflex, or others. 
• If you are allergic to any medications (particularly penicillin), tell your doctor before taking Omnicef.
• Let your doctor know if you have renal illness or a history of digestive issues.

• Diarrhea. 
• Vaginal itchiness or discharge.
• Headache.
• Rash (including diaper rash in infants using liquid cefdinir).

How to Use:
